Money-Purchase Pension Plans

Money-purchase pension plans generally require employers to contribute a specified percentage of each participating employee's compensation (up to 25%) to an account set up for that employee - regardless of company profits. The employee's account balance at retirement depends on the employee's years of service, as with a profit-sharing plan, and your plan's investment performance. A money-purchase pension plan may be used in conjunction with your profit-sharing plan.
