Morgan Keegan Equity Research Analysts Top Rankings Again
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (May 25, 2011) — Seven Morgan Keegan & Company equity research analysts were named among the best in the nation in two annual surveys by Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal. Six Morgan Keegan analysts were among the top-ranked stock pickers and earnings estimators in their respective industry sectors in the Financial Times/StarMine 2010 Global Analyst Awards published May 25, 2011. Also, restaurant analyst Destin Tompkins, CFA®, was named a “Best on the Street” analyst in The Wall Street Journal’s Annual Survey published May 10, 2011.

Tompkins ranked fourth in the restaurants category in The Wall Street Journal survey. Morgan Keegan’s analysts have been ranked among the industry’s best in 17 of the 19 years that The Wall Street Journal has published the survey. This marks the second consecutive year that Tompkins was named “Best on the Street.”
The Best on the Street survey identifies the top five analysts in each of 44 sectors, based on the analysts' stock-picking skill. The data were assembled by FactSet, a Norwalk, Conn., company that tracks analysts' recommendations and earnings estimates. This year's Best on the Street analysts were selected from a universe of more than 2,000 analysts from nearly 200 firms.
