(BUSINESS WIRE), July 19, 2007 — The Regions Financial Corporation (NYSE:RF) Board of Directors today declared a quarterly cash dividend of 36 cents per share, payable Oct. 1, 2007, to stockholders of record as of Sept. 17, 2007. This is the 146th consecutive quarter in which the company has paid cash dividends, going back to its formation in 1971.
Regions has been recognized for its long history of consecutive annual dividend increases as well as its dividend yield, which currently approximates 4.3 percent, and by being included in the Dow Jones Select Dividend Index.
